About Tungle

Tungle is an independent browser word game from Andreassen Technologies. Each day there is a grid of letter tiles and a list of required words to find, shown only as counts by length, for example fifteen four-letter words and one ten-letter word.

You find words by tracing: press the first letter, drag through neighbouring tiles in any direction including diagonals, and release. You cannot skip a tile or use the same tile twice in one word. Required words count towards finishing; other valid words you spot are kept as bonus words.

There is no countdown, so you can leave and come back. As your score grows, hints unlock: counts of words starting on each tile, then tile clues, then first-letter clues for the list, and you also get a limited number of word reveals. You can compare progress with friends or use Solve together, where everyone's finds help the group finish.

Today's Daily and the smaller Mini are free with no account needed. The optional Tungle+ membership adds the archive, extra hints and the harder Weekly that comes out every Friday.

How to play Tungle

1. Open today's Tungle and look at the letter grid and the word counts by length.
2. Press the first letter of a word.
3. Drag through touching letters, across, down or diagonally, without reusing a tile.
4. Release to submit the word.
5. Keep going until every required word is found, using hints if you get stuck.

Tips

• Look for common endings like ING and ED near the edges of the grid.
• Find the long words early; their letters often reveal several shorter ones.
• Save your reveal for the last stubborn word.
