About Letter Spin

Letter Spin is a browser word game by Conrad A that puts out one numbered puzzle a day. Each puzzle is a 4x4 board of sixteen letters, and every player gets the same board on the same day. The share card shows the puzzle number and its date, so the first puzzle went up at the start of 2026.

You make words by moving from one letter to a neighbouring one, and the side panel keeps count of what is left in three groups: 4-letter words, 5-letter words and words of six letters or more. A typical board hides dozens of words (one card shows 56 to find). One 7-letter word on each board is the Super Word, marked separately.

Finding words earns stars, and stars buy help: a hint that shows the first two letters of a word, or a full reveal of a 4, 5 or 6+ letter word, each at a higher price. A Spin button sits under the grid. The game also sets small side challenges, such as finding a 4, 5 and 6-letter word, or words that start with four different letters, and keeps a history of your past results.

It suits players who like Squaredle or Boggle-style boards and want one fixed grid a day rather than endless random ones.

How to play Letter Spin

1. Open letterspin.org; the day's numbered puzzle loads on its own.
2. Drag or tap through neighbouring letters to spell a word of four letters or more, then release to submit it.
3. Watch the side panel fill the 4-letter, 5-letter and 6+ letter lists as you find words.
4. Look for the 7-letter Super Word hidden in the grid.
5. Spend stars on hints or reveals if you get stuck, then come back the next day for a new board.

Tips

• Start with common endings such as -ER, -ED and -ING paths; they unlock many longer words at once.
• Save your stars for the 6+ letter group, where reveals help the most.
• The Super Word uses seven tiles, so look for a long path that covers most of the board's vowels.
