The Daily Wordshake is the daily board on Wordshake, a Boggle-inspired word site. Each day gives a numbered 4x4 grid and a punning clue to the Wordshake, the longest word on the board, which uses all sixteen letters. Every two words you find earns a hint that reveals another of its letters.

About Daily Wordshake

Wordshake is a word site built on Boggle's classic 4x4 grid, with endless random boards, a live multiplayer game and two daily puzzles. The Daily Wordshake is the main one: a numbered board, the same for everyone, published early each morning UTC.

The board's sixteen letters spell one long word, the Wordshake, and the day's clue points at it with a pun (A Bridge Too Far-Fetched on board #859). Its first letter is shown in a row of blanks. You connect touching letters to form any words you can, and every two words found fill the hint button, which reveals a further letter of the Wordshake. Find the Wordshake to solve the puzzle; the board also counts how many words there are of each length, and a bonus round and a star wait for those who keep going.

A calendar shows the days you have completed this month, and past Wordshakes stay playable. Beside it, Wordshake's Daily Puzzle gives a themed word hunt each day.

It suits Boggle players who like a target as well as a word count.
