Tilerdle (Knotwise Games)
Move and rotate scattered letter tiles until the day's themed words read across and down.
Every day: A new themed board each day at midnight Eastern: the day's words are broken into letter tiles that you move and rotate back into crossing words, with one solution. New puzzle: Midnight US Eastern time.

Tilerdle is a daily tiled-words puzzle from Knotwise Games. Each board takes a set of themed words, breaks them into letter tiles and scatters them; you move and rotate the tiles until every word reads correctly, and each board has exactly one solution.
About Tilerdle (Knotwise Games)
Tilerdle is one of the daily puzzles at Knotwise Games. Every board is built around a single theme, shown in a strip at the top, such as butterflies. The theme words are cut into tiles carrying a few letters each and scattered across the grid, and the game is putting them back together so the words cross and read correctly.
You drag tiles to move them and tap to rotate them. Each word is read from its leading tile, and dashed connectors and colour feedback show when tiles fit together; a tile turned the wrong way may sit next to its partner and show nothing until you rotate it. When two tiles fuse, you can keep building the block outward.
The word pools are written by hand and checked so that every word is a real dictionary word and no two words share a three-letter run in either direction, which guarantees a single solution you can reach by reasoning. A new board arrives at midnight Eastern; Monday is gentle and the boards grow toward the weekend. There are no lives, no move limit and no fail state, just a timer that counts up.
The last seven days are free in the archive, and older boards are part of a subscription. You can also build your own board from a theme and a few words and share it, and published player boards sit in a community section.
How to play Tilerdle (Knotwise Games)
- Read the day's theme at the top of the board.
- Find a tile whose letters could begin one of the theme words.
- Drag tiles into place and tap to rotate them so their letters line up.
- Watch the connectors and colours to see which tiles fit together.
- Keep building until every themed word reads correctly across and down.
Tips
- Start with a tile that can begin a word; a tile that cannot start anything turns red even with the right letters.
- If a tile sits next to its partner and nothing happens, try rotating it.
- Once two tiles fuse, extend that block instead of starting a new cluster.
