A Tiler board with coloured letter pieces such as GST, ESB, EUBA and EP being assembled into words

Tiler is a daily word puzzle from Gamebunny. The board is scattered with pieces made of letter tiles, and you drag them around until they fit together into words, in as few moves as you can.

About Tiler (Gamebunny)

Tiler is one of the free daily games on Gamebunny, the site that also hosts Wordcell, Flagged and Brainer. Each day has one handmade puzzle, stored under its date and the same for every player.

The board holds pieces made of one or more letter tiles, each in its own colour and pattern. You drag pieces to new positions so that their letters line up into words across and down, much like putting a word jigsaw together. Words are collected as you complete them, and the game keeps track of how many moves you needed.

Options help or hinder as you like: you can mark where a piece came from and where it will land, strike out solved words, or switch on a master mode that erases the board markings. Some puzzles include words in another language, and a setting shows their English definitions. Gamebunny's optional paid full version adds larger daily XL puzzles and customisation, but the regular daily puzzle is free.

It suits players who enjoy spatial puzzles and word games together, and who like to improve their move count from day to day.

  3. Line pieces up so their letters spell words across or down.
  4. Keep moving pieces until every word is complete.
  5. Try to finish in as few moves as possible.

Tips

  • Look for short pieces that can only fit one word, and place those first.
  • Turn on the origin and destination markers if you lose track of where a piece will land.
  • Once you are comfortable, try master mode, which removes the board markings.
