Simple Trains
A minimalist railway puzzle: connect stations and keep passengers moving, with a Daily Challenge map.
Every day: One Daily Challenge map per day, the same for every player, with its own ranking table (past days' tables can be browsed). New puzzle: Once a day.

Simple Trains is a minimalist transport management game. You drag routes between stations, add trains and wagons with the money passengers bring in, and keep the network from overflowing. Alongside 14 levels there is one Daily Challenge map each day with a ranking table.
About Simple Trains
Simple Trains is a small strategy game by ElectronDust and Simurai, released on Steam in June 2024 for Windows. Its clean, flat look and drag-and-drop controls will feel familiar to anyone who has played Mini Metro, but the focus is on balancing trains, wagons and money.
Stations appear on the map and passengers wait at them. You drag routes from station to station, tie new stations into existing lines, and reroute as demand changes. Each passenger delivered earns money, which buys new trains and wagons; you can drag them between routes to keep the load balanced. Eight upgrades, from faster boarding and bigger stations to rocket wagons and cheaper trains, change your options, and a focus mode helps you read where passengers want to go.
The Daily Challenge is one map per day, built by the game's seed-based level generator and played by everyone. It has its own ranking table, and an August 2024 update added arrows to browse the ranking tables of past daily challenges. Each of the 14 regular levels also has a ranking table.
There are light and dark colour schemes. It suits players who like calm network-building puzzles and want one fresh map a day to compare against others.

Tips
- Spend early income on wagons for your busiest route before adding new lines.
- Use focus mode to see which stations need which passengers before rerouting.
- Rebalance trains between routes as demand shifts instead of always buying new ones.
