Shelf Control
Rate itTap the cats in the right order to stack coloured blocks into the day's picture.
Every day: One daily picture puzzle, the same for everyone, with a streak and a share button that turns the finished picture into an emoji grid. New puzzle: Once a day; the game does not say at what hour.

Shelf Control is a small browser puzzle in which cats carry coloured blocks up a shelf and drop them where they fit, until a pixel picture is complete. The catch is a tray with room for only a few cats, so the order you tap them in matters. Besides 40 levels there is one daily puzzle, the same for everyone, with a streak and an emoji share grid.
About Shelf Control
Shelf Control is a casual puzzle game by Frostfin, published on itch.io in September 2026 as an early public build. The maker says it was first made for their nieces, with cute animals and satisfying sounds.
The board is a shelf with a pixel picture to fill, and below it stand rows of cats, each carrying blocks of one colour. Tap a cat and it climbs the shelf and drops its blocks wherever they fit in the picture. Finish the picture and the level is done. The tray holds only a few cats at a time, so tapping the right cat at the right moment is the whole game: send up a colour the picture cannot use yet and you run out of room.
There are forty hand-tuned levels in five chapters, from a first heart to a rainbow that takes real planning. Next to them sits one daily puzzle, the same for every player, such as the Mushroom of 25 September, with a streak and a share button that turns your finished picture into a grid of emoji.
It is free, with no ads and no account, and plays in the browser on a phone or a desktop, where it can also be added to the home screen. It suits players who like short, calm sorting puzzles with a picture at the end.
How to play Shelf Control
- Open the game and pick the Daily puzzle at the top of the level list.
- Look at the picture on the shelf and the colours each row of cats is carrying.
- Tap a cat to send it up the shelf; it drops its blocks wherever they fit.
- Keep an eye on the tray: it only has room for a few cats, so send colours the picture can use now.
- Finish the picture to complete the day, then share your emoji grid.

Tips
- Before tapping, check which colours the next row of the picture needs.
- Do not fill the tray with cats whose colours have nowhere to go yet.
- Play the early chapter levels first: they teach how blocks settle into the picture.
