Five mixed questions in sixty seconds, the same five for everyone each UTC day.

Every day: Five new questions a day, the same five for every player in the world: two easier, two medium and one harder, from at most two of the same category (logic, patterns, visual puzzles, memory, wordplay, estimation, general knowledge and more), with one official sixty-second attempt and a live daily leaderboard. New puzzle: 00:00 UTC.

Same Five question 1 of 5, a wordplay question asking which word goes before box, man and age, with four answer choices and a 54-second clock

Same Five is a one-minute daily quiz: five questions, sixty seconds, one attempt, and the same five for every player. The questions change kind from day to day, from logic and patterns to memory, wordplay and general knowledge, and your score is ranked on a live leaderboard.

About Same Five

Same Five sets one short challenge a day. At 00:00 UTC a new set of five questions goes live, and everyone who plays that day gets the same five. You have sixty seconds on a server-kept clock that does not pause if you switch tabs, and one official attempt.

The five mix categories: logic, patterns, visual puzzles, memory, wordplay, estimation, general knowledge, prediction, speed and mini puzzles, with no more than two from the same category. The difficulty follows a fixed curve of two easier questions, two medium and one harder. Answers can be a single choice, a this-or-that pick, a point on a scale, or putting items in order, and a memory question shows you something to memorise first. The site says every question is reviewed by a person before it goes live.

Each right answer is worth 2,000 points, so a perfect run is 10,000. Speed never adds points; your time only breaks ties on the leaderboard. Your result shows your rank on the day's live leaderboard and, once enough people have played, the share of players you beat. The correct answers and explanations appear once that day's challenge has closed.

You can play as a guest if you are 16 or older. A free account keeps your streak and results across devices, puts your name on the leaderboard and adds a few practice sessions a day. A paid Pro plan for targeted practice is described on the site but not yet available, and the daily five stays free. Sharing your result sends a link that lets a friend play the same five with your score to beat.

Tips

  • Speed only breaks ties, so take a second to read each question rather than rushing: a wrong answer costs 2,000 points.
  • On the keyboard, the number keys 1 to 4 answer single-choice questions faster than the mouse.
  • The last question is the hardest of the five, so keep a few seconds in hand for it.
  • Check back after the day closes to read the answers and explanations for anything you missed.
