Daily Brain picks three short brain games each day, such as speed maths, memory grids or reaction tests, each taking under a minute. Your results combine into one daily score out of 100 that you can share, and the puzzles are numbered and the same for everyone.

About Daily Brain

Daily Brain is a browser game from Chugger Games built around a quick routine: play three mini games, get one score. The pool has twelve games covering speed, memory and focus: Speed Math, Memory Grid, Attention Filter, Pattern Snap, Color Match, Word Scramble, Reaction Time, Visual Search, Quick Estimate, Direction Dash, Stop Signal and Sequence Recall.

Each day the site uses the date as a seed to pick three of them and generate their content, so every player gets the same set and the day is numbered as Daily Brain #N. Each game takes less than a minute. At the end you see your score out of 100 with a rating and a breakdown by game, plus your streak and history. Sharing your results unlocks a Hard Mode.

There is also a Practice mode for any game at any time, a light theme, and a colour-blind mode using the Okabe-Ito palette. The site is careful to say it does not guarantee cognitive improvement and links to studies it found interesting. It suits people who want a three-minute warm-up rather than a long puzzle.

How to play Daily Brain

  1. Press Play Today's Games to start the first of the day's three mini games.
  2. Read the short instructions and play; each game lasts under a minute.
  3. Move on to games two and three.
  4. See your combined score out of 100, with a breakdown for each game.
  5. Share your result to unlock Hard Mode, or use Practice to train a single game.

Tips

  • Read each game's instructions before starting; the timer starts quickly.
  • In reaction and stop-signal games, accuracy matters as much as speed.
  • Turn on colour-blind mode if colour-matching games are hard to read.
  • Play at the same time each day to keep your streak and compare scores fairly.
