Dayzle share card: five puzzles a day, same for everyone, beside a phone showing the daily leaderboard podium

Dayzle is a puzzle app for phones and the browser that sets five short puzzles every day, drawn from more than 25 number, word and visual logic games. Everyone at your difficulty plays the same set, so each puzzle has a leaderboard and the best times win medals the next morning. Between days, every game is open for practice.

About Dayzle: Daily Brain Games

Dayzle, from the Canadian studio Coordn8r Software, gathers more than 25 small puzzle games into one app and picks five of them for each day's set. The set mixes kinds: a number grid such as Sudoku or Tally (kakuro), a word game such as Cipher or Tumbler, and a visual logic puzzle such as Crowns (star battle) or Equinox (suns and moons). The whole set takes about ten minutes. A daily Sudoku sits beside it for days when that is all you want.

The daily set comes at four difficulties, Easy, Medium, Hard and Extra Hard, and everyone on a difficulty gets the same puzzles on the same date. Each puzzle has its own leaderboard, ranked by games solved and then by time plus what mistakes and hints cost. Players appear under a made-up name such as Quiet Otter 41 unless they choose their own. The morning after a day has closed everywhere, the best daily sets and Sudoku times get gold, silver and bronze medals, and a weekly board runs on one skill at a time.

Five of the games play on hexagonal boards: star battle, kakuro, a line puzzle, word search and a word path puzzle on a honeycomb, which need a different way of solving than their square versions. Every game shares one layout and one hint button, and a hint reads your board as it is, names the technique and shows the cells that prove it.

The app works offline and needs no account; signing in carries progress, friends and medals between devices. One game a day keeps your streak, all five earn a gold laurel, and a streak freeze covers a missed day. Dayzle is free. The daily set has no ads; practice outside it shows video ads between games, which the optional Plus and Unlimited subscriptions remove. It suits players who want a short, varied daily routine rather than one kind of puzzle.

How to play Dayzle: Daily Brain Games

  1. Open Dayzle on your phone or at play.dayzlegame.com; Today's Set is the first thing on screen.
  2. Play the five puzzles in order, or skip one and come back to it; each game has a short tutorial the first time.
  3. Use the hint button when stuck: it names the next technique and shows the cells that prove it, at a cost to your adjusted time.
  4. Finish the set to see your place on each puzzle's leaderboard, and check the next morning for medals.
  5. Between days, open the Practice tab to play any game at any of the four difficulties.

Tips

  • Start at Easy: the daily set moves you up the difficulties as you play, and each difficulty has its own leaderboard.
  • Mistakes and hints add to your adjusted time, so a careful clean solve can beat a faster one with slips.
  • Practice a game you met in today's set before tomorrow; the same games come round again in later sets.
  • Only one game is needed to keep a streak, and every tenth day earns a streak freeze.
