Roguewake
A spin-based pirate deckbuilder where every spin is a broadside.
Every day: Daily and weekly seeded challenges give every captain the same symbol and relic pools. New puzzle: Once a day.

Roguewake is a pirate deckbuilder roguelite played on a spinning 5x4 board of symbols: crew, weapons, sea creatures, treasure and curses that feed and multiply each other before firing at the enemy ship. Daily seeded challenges give every captain the same symbol and relic pools.
About Roguewake
Roguewake turns each spin of a 5x4 board into a broadside. Your deck is made of symbols, crew, weapons, sea creatures, treasure and curses, that land on the board and interact, feeding, copying, consuming and transforming one another, and the result is fired into the enemy's hull. After every spin you add one of three new symbols to the deck, or skip to improve the next offer.
The enemy fires back, but its attacks are always telegraphed: you see how much damage is coming and how many spins remain, so you can raise shields, repair, weaken the strike or race to sink it first. Runs reset, but your symbol pool persists: Prestige earned in normal runs unlocks themed sets, and you decide which symbols may appear in future voyages.
Daily and weekly seeded challenges give every captain the same symbol and relic pools, so results compare fairly; the game stresses there is no forced daily login. It runs on Windows and macOS.
It suits fans of Luck be a Landlord and deckbuilders who like a nautical theme.
How to play Roguewake
- Launch Roguewake on Steam and start the daily seeded challenge.
- Spin to fill the 5x4 board with symbols from your deck.
- Watch symbols interact and fire their combined damage at the enemy ship.
- After each spin, add one of three offered symbols, or skip.
- Defend against the telegraphed enemy attack and sink ships to go further.
Tips
- Build around adjacency: symbols that boost neighbours grow stronger as the deck thickens.
- Time your strongest spin; overkill damage does not carry into the next battle.
