Every day: Four puzzles a day, the same for every player: the day's Marvel Rivals hero from attribute clues, a hero from a blurred silhouette, a hero from one ability icon, and a map from a close-up that zooms out; two harder bonus modes, Hero Challenge and Map Challenge, have daily answers of their own. New puzzle: Midnight in your device's local time.

RIVALSDLE is a free daily guessing game for Marvel Rivals players. Each day you name a hero from a grid of attribute clues, another from a blurred silhouette and another from a single ability icon, and pick out a map from a zoomed-in picture, with unlimited guesses and a score counted in tries.

About RIVALSDLE

RIVALSDLE is a fan-made daily game built on Marvel Rivals, the team hero shooter, and modelled on Wordle and LoLdle. It is made by Tristan Lainé, a solo developer in France whose Taxon Games label also runs daily guessing games for Tekken 8, Street Fighter 6, Overwatch, Valorant, Apex Legends and others. It is not affiliated with NetEase, Marvel Games or Disney.

The day has four puzzles. In Hero mode you type any hero and get a row of seven cells: role, power source, team, gender, difficulty, the season the hero joined Marvel Rivals and the hero's first comic appearance. Green is a match, red a miss, orange means close (a related team, or the right year but the wrong season), and arrows show whether the answer arrived later or earlier. Silhouette starts with a dark, heavily blurred render that clears with every miss. Icon hides one ability icon behind tiles that come off a few at a time. Map shows a tight crop of one map and zooms out after each wrong guess.

Guesses are unlimited and there is no game over: your score is the number of tries, and a share grid shows it without giving the answer away. Two bonus modes sit on top: Hero Challenge, where each guess reveals only one of its seven cells, and Map Challenge, with a closer crop, drained colour and ten zoom steps instead of six. A Past days archive replays earlier puzzles without touching your stats, yesterday's answers are posted each morning, and groups and private matches let friends race on the same puzzles.

It suits Marvel Rivals players who know the roster and the maps and want a few minutes of guessing each day. It can be played in English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Polish and Portuguese, with stats kept in the browser and no account needed.

How to play RIVALSDLE

  1. Open rivalsdle.day and choose Hero mode.
  2. Type a Marvel Rivals hero's name, pick it from the list and press Guess.
  3. Read the seven cells: green is a match, orange is close, red is a miss, and arrows point to a later or earlier release season or comic debut.
  4. Keep guessing until every cell turns green; your score is the number of tries.
  5. Play Silhouette and Icon to name a hero from a blurred render and from an ability icon, then Map, where the picture zooms out after every wrong map.
  6. Share your result and come back after midnight for the next set.

Tips

  • Start with a hero whose release season sits in the middle of the roster's history, so the arrow cuts the field in half.
  • Role and team together usually leave only a handful of heroes.
  • In Map mode, look at colours, sky and building materials in the close-up before the zoom shows the layout.
  • In Icon mode, think about which heroes use that colour and shape in their kit before the tiles are gone.
