Riddle of the Day Games
Rate itFour small daily logic boards: a hidden code, a number route, rectangles and bridges.
Every day: Four small logic puzzles dated for each day (Monday, October 5, 2026: a 5x6 Bridges with 9 islands and a 5x5 Areas with 7 sections, plus Hidden key and Number route), the same for every player. New puzzle: Once a day; each board shows the date it belongs to.

The games page of Riddle of the Day sets four logic puzzles each day: Hidden key, a code to crack from exact and misplaced digits; Number route, one continuous path through numbers in order; Areas, rectangles that match their numbers; and Bridges, islands linked into one network. A six-level sliding-block campaign sits beside them.
About Riddle of the Day Games
Riddle of the Day, the daily riddle site by a Madrid-trained mathematician, keeps a separate games page for breaks between riddles. Four of its games have a daily challenge, each dated on its board and the same for everyone, and progress is saved in your browser with no account.
Hidden key is a code breaker: you guess a numeric key and learn how many digits are exact and how many are misplaced, with four levels from four digits without repeats to six digits with repeats, and ten attempts on Easy. Number route asks for one continuous path that visits the numbers in order and fills the board. Areas is a Shikaku: drag rectangles so each holds exactly one number equal to its area. Bridges is a Hashiwokakero: connect numbered islands with one or two bridges each, without crossings, into a single network.
The boards are small, a 5x5 Areas and a 5x6 Bridges on an easy day, so the set can be finished in a short sitting. A timer runs on each board and a result can be copied to share. The sliding-blocks campaign has six fixed levels rather than a daily board. The site carries no ads and is also in Spanish.
How to play Riddle of the Day Games

- In Number route, draw one path through the numbers in order that covers the whole board.
- In Areas, drag rectangles so each contains one number equal to its size; in Bridges, link the islands so each has its number of bridges.
- Finish each board, then copy your result to share.

Tips
- In Bridges, start with islands whose number forces every possible bridge, such as an 8 in the middle or a 4 in a corner.
- In Areas, place the large numbers first: a 9 on a 5x5 board has few rectangles that fit.
- In Hidden key, choose guesses that test several new digits at once.
- Do Easy Hidden key first if you are new: it has no repeated digits.
