About Przesuwka (Łamaniec)

Przesuwka is one of the daily games on Łamaniec, the Polish puzzle site behind Kropki, Literada and Temaciak. The board is a row of vertical columns of letters, and one row across them is highlighted.

You slide the columns up and down to line up letters in the highlighted row, and when they spell a word you press Sprawdź to check it. Each main word you find marks its letters on the board, and the puzzle is solved when all the main words have marked the whole board; a counter shows how many you have. Extra words do not mark letters, but every two of them unlock a hint.

A new board arrives every day, the same for all players.

It suits Polish speakers who like moving-tile word puzzles, close cousins of games like Combinadas and Slideways.

How to play Przesuwka (Łamaniec)

1. Look at the columns and the highlighted row.
2. Slide columns up or down to line up a word in that row.
3. Press Sprawdź to check the word.
4. Find all the main words to mark the whole board.
5. Use extra words to earn hints: two extra words unlock one.

Tips

• Start with columns that have only a few likely letters for the row.
• Look for common Polish endings to anchor the right-hand columns.
• Bank extra words early so a hint is ready when you get stuck.
