Combinadas (La Nación)
Slide columns of letters to spell words in the middle row until every letter is used.
Every day: One board of letter columns a day, the same for every player: slide them to spell Spanish words in the centre row until every letter is freed. New puzzle: Midnight in your local time zone (the game loads the puzzle for your device's date).

Combinadas is La Nación's daily sliding-letter word game. You move columns of letters up and down to spell a Spanish word along the highlighted centre row; each word frees its letters, and the goal is to free them all. Scoring rewards speed.
About Combinadas (La Nación)
Combinadas arrived on LN Juegos in January 2026. The board is a set of letter columns, and a highlighted row runs across the middle.
You slide each column up or down until the centre row spells a valid Spanish word. Each correct word frees the letters it used, which turn from grey to black and stay available for new words. The puzzle is built from core words, which paint the centre row yellow when you find them; extra words are marked in dark red and also help you progress. The sooner you free every letter, the higher your score.
It is part of LN Juegos, the games section of the Buenos Aires newspaper La Nación, and is played in Spanish in the browser. Today's puzzle is free without an account. Earlier days in the calendar and the LN Juegos ranking ask you to log in, and the game sends you to La Nación's registration and subscription pages for them.
It suits players of Puzzmo's Typeshift who want a similar column puzzle in Spanish.
