Szarada (Łamaniec)

The Szarada card from Łamaniec

Szarada (Łamaniec) is a daily Wordle in Polish. Each day there is one five-letter Polish word, the same for every player, and you have six tries to find it, with coloured tiles showing which letters are in the right place, which are in the word elsewhere and which are missing.

About Szarada (Łamaniec)

Szarada (Łamaniec) brings the Wordle formula to Polish. Every day there is one hidden word of five letters, the same for all players, and the aim is to find it in six tries or fewer.

You type real Polish words, using a keyboard with the letters of the Polish alphabet. After each guess the tiles change colour: one colour for a letter in the right place, another for a letter that is in the word but somewhere else, and grey for a letter that is not there at all. Each guess narrows down the answer.

Szarada is the Wordle of Łamaniec, the Polish puzzle site that also runs Literada, Sylabiak, Przesuwka, Temaciak and Strzałki. It is free with no registration, and an archive holds every answer since 2022.

It suits Polish speakers and learners who want their daily word puzzle in their own language.
