PEGDLE
Rate itGuess a video game's PEGI age rating and the content descriptors behind it.
Every day: One fixed video game a day, shared by everyone since 26 May 2026: guess its PEGI age rating (3, 7, 12, 16 or 18) and its content descriptors in one submission. New puzzle: Once a day (exact hour not stated).

PEGDLE shows you one video game a day, with its year, platforms, genres and a short description, and asks for its official PEGI rating and the content descriptors behind it, such as Violence, Fear or In-Game Purchases. You get one submission, scored on the rating and on each descriptor; an endless mode lets you keep practising.
About PEGDLE
PEGDLE is a daily quiz about the Pan European Game Information age rating system. Each day has one fixed game, the same for everyone; on 5 October 2026 it was Bloodborne. The round shows the game's title, a short description, its year, platforms, genres and franchise, and you choose one PEGI rating, 3, 7, 12, 16 or 18, plus every content descriptor you think applies: Violence, Bad Language, Fear, Gambling, Sex, Drugs, Discrimination and In-Game Purchases.
You get one submission per round. The game can also show footage of the game, but each second watched costs points, so the more you rely on it, the lower your score. Stats track your total score, exact rating guesses, perfect descriptor rounds and your streak.
The daily game runs from 26 May 2026, and a calendar lets you reopen any past day, though not future ones. Endless mode draws from more than 7,000 games for as many rounds as you like. The site explains the rating system in a guide and presents itself as educational, for players and for parents learning what the labels mean. It is free in the browser.
How to play PEGDLE
- Read the day's game: title, description, year, platforms, genres and franchise.
- Pick the PEGI rating you think it has: 3, 7, 12, 16 or 18.
- Select every content descriptor you think applies, such as Violence or Fear.
- Submit your answer once; footage is available but costs points per second watched.
- See the official rating and descriptors, then try past days from the calendar or Endless mode.
Tips
- Genre and franchise say a lot: horror games almost always carry Fear, shooters Violence.
- Remember In-Game Purchases is a descriptor too, common in free-to-play and recent games.
- Watch the footage only if you are stuck, since every second costs points.
