Palagrama (Clarín)
Clarín's daily hidden word in Spanish, in four, five and six-letter versions.
Every day: A Spanish word of the day in 4, 5 and 6-letter versions, each published per date and the same for every player, with six tries to find it. New puzzle: Once a day (Argentina date).

Palagrama is the Wordle-style game in the Argentine newspaper Clarín's games section. Each day there is one Spanish word for each length (four, five and six letters), and coloured tiles after each guess show which letters are right, misplaced or absent. Clarín asks you to log in with a free account to play.
About Palagrama (Clarín)
Palagrama sits in Clarín's Juegos section alongside Lexi Reto, the Claringrilla, sudokus, quizzes and the Test Actualidad news quiz. The games are supplied by Quality Games, which runs the same engine for other newspapers in Spain and Latin America.
There are three versions, each with its own daily word: Palagrama 4, Palagrama 5 and Palagrama 6. On 2 October 2026 the game server handed every player the same words for the three lengths, along with shared statistics on how many people solved them, and the next day's words differed. The rules follow the classic format: six attempts, each a valid Spanish word of the right length, with colours after each try. Proper names, plurals and conjugated verbs are not accepted (infinitives are).
When you open the game on clarin.com, a login screen asks you to sign in or create a free account. The game keeps your streak and shows how the day's players did overall.
It suits Spanish speakers and learners who want a daily word puzzle with three difficulty levels in one place.
How to play Palagrama (Clarín)
- Open Palagrama on clarin.com and choose 4, 5 or 6 letters (log in with a free Clarín account if asked).
- Type a valid Spanish word of that length and confirm it.
- Read the colours: one for a letter in the right place, one for a letter elsewhere in the word, grey for letters not in it.
- Use the clues for your next guess; you have six tries.
- Come back the next day for new words in all three lengths.
Tips
- Start with a word full of common Spanish letters such as A, E, O, R, S and N.
- Remember that plurals and conjugated verbs are not valid answers, but infinitives are.
- Play the four-letter word first as a warm-up, then move up to five and six.
- Accents are not typed; think of the word without them.
