An OutClocked question: a 55.1 second countdown over the question What does www stand for, with four answer cards

OutClocked is a free daily trivia game in the browser. Everyone gets the same seven general-knowledge questions, each with four answers, but the time allowed halves after every question: 60 seconds for the first, under one second for the last. One wrong answer or a timeout ends your day.

About OutClocked

OutClocked is a daily general-knowledge quiz made by Karol Gajda, launched in October 2026. A new game goes up every day at 6am Eastern Time, and every player gets the same seven questions.

Each question shows four possible answers and a large countdown. The first question gives you 60 seconds, the second 30, then 15, 7.5, 3.75, 1.88 and finally 0.94 seconds. Pick a wrong answer or let the clock reach zero and the game is over until tomorrow, so how far you get is your score for the day.

The early questions leave time to think; the last ones have to be read and answered almost at once, which is where the game earns its own description as nearly impossible. Once you are done you can share your result, see how everyone else did that day, and compare scores on a daily leaderboard.

You can play without an account. Signing in by email link keeps a streak, lets you start or join a friend league, and can send a reminder each morning when the new game is out. Past games can be replayed from an archive, though replays do not count toward streaks, stats or the leaderboard.

It suits players who like a short quiz with some pressure in it: the whole day takes a couple of minutes at most.

How to play OutClocked

  1. Open outclocked.com and press Start today's game.
  2. Read the question and pick one of the four answers before the countdown reaches zero.
  3. Answer correctly to move on; the next question gives you half the time of the one before.
  4. Keep going through all seven questions, from 60 seconds down to 0.94 seconds.
  5. A wrong answer or a timeout ends your game for the day: share your result and come back after 6am Eastern Time.

Tips

  • Use the long clock on the first questions to settle in; the time on question one is more than you need.
  • For the last questions, read the answers first: with under two seconds there is no time to read twice.
  • Sign in before you start if you want the day to count toward a streak and a friend league.
  • Replay past games from the archive to practise the speed of the short rounds; replays do not affect your stats.
