Noggle
A daily logic-grid deduction puzzle with a trivia theme.
Every day: A dated, themed logic-grid puzzle each day, the same for everyone: use the clues to match people, things and places across categories, then read the day's fun fact. New puzzle: Midnight, local time.

Noggle is the daily logic-grid puzzle on nibble.games, the site behind MapTap. Each day brings a themed grid, for example winners of the 2003 Ig Nobel Prizes, their awards and where they came from, and a short list of clues to match them up. You start with five stars and lose one for each hint.
About Noggle
Noggle is a classic logic-grid puzzle, the kind where a few clues are enough to work out who did what and where. Each daily puzzle has a theme drawn from real facts, and its categories, such as names, awards and places, form a grid of yes and no cells.
You read the clues and mark each cell: double tap for a match, single tap for no match, and tap again to undo. In the answer grid every row and column gets exactly one check, so elimination does much of the work. When the answer grid is full you press Ready to Score. You begin with five stars, a hint costs one, and the result can be shared. Each puzzle comes with a short fact related to its theme, such as Liechtenstein once being available to rent for corporate events.
Puzzles are stored by date, so everyone gets the same one, and a calendar lets you play prior days. Noggle sits alongside MapTap, Swapple, Kuromasu and other dailies on nibble.games, with a Discord for players.
It suits fans of logic puzzles from puzzle magazines and anyone who likes a little trivia mixed into their deduction.
How to play Noggle
- Open Noggle and read the theme and the list of clues.
- Double tap a cell to mark a match and single tap to mark a non-match.
- Use elimination: each row and column of the answer grid has exactly one match.
- Use a hint if stuck, at the cost of one star.
- Fill the answer grid and press Ready to Score, then share your stars.
Tips
- Start with clues that say two things are not linked: they fill in no-cells quickly.
- Once a match is found, cross out the rest of its row and column.
- Carry facts between sub-grids: a match in one category often settles another.
- Play the tutorial first if logic grids are new to you.
