Griddle (dailygriddle.com)
A daily Zebra Puzzle in emoji, in three difficulties.
Every day: Three logic grid puzzles a day (Easy, Standard and Hard), the same for everyone, loaded from the server by date and difficulty. New puzzle: Midnight, local time on your device.

Griddle is a daily logic grid puzzle in the tradition of the Zebra Puzzle or Einstein's Riddle. Items are shown as emoji, and a list of facts tells you which go together; you mark matches and non-matches on a grid until every item has exactly one partner in each category. There are Easy, Standard and Hard puzzles each day.
About Griddle (dailygriddle.com)
Griddle, made by Alexander Gambon, serves three puzzles a day: Easy, Standard and Hard. Each puzzle has a few categories, such as people, plants or pets, all drawn as emoji, and every item matches exactly one item in each other category. Your job is to find all the matches using only the facts given, with no guessing needed.
Facts come in several types: direct matches, non-matches, either/or, neither/nor, group matches where two items pair with two others in some order, and if-and-only-if statements. You tap grid cells to cycle through a tick, a cross or blank, and a lock on a tick fills the rest of its row and column with crosses for you. Undo works with a button or Ctrl+Z, and a Simple view puts everything in one column for phones.
The puzzles are fetched by date, so everyone solves the same ones, and a calendar lets you go back to earlier days. When you finish you can share your result. It suits fans of classic logic grid puzzles who want a short daily dose, with an easy level to learn the clue types.
How to play Griddle (dailygriddle.com)
- Pick Easy, Standard or Hard for today.
- Read the facts below the grid; each describes how emoji items relate.
- Tap a grid cell to mark a tick (match), a cross (no match) or leave it blank.
- Lock a tick to cross out the rest of its row and column automatically.
- Keep deducing until every item has exactly one match in each category, then share your result.
Tips
- Start with direct matches and non-matches, then work through either/or facts.
- Every tick means crosses for the rest of that row and column inside the block; the lock does this for you.
- Group facts are strong: if two items pair with two others, they cannot pair with anything else in that category.
- Try Easy first to learn the clue types before the Hard puzzle.
Questions

Do I ever need to guess?
No. The game says every puzzle can be solved by deduction from the facts.
Can I play past days?
Yes, using the calendar on the site.
