Netflix Puzzled daily puzzles on tablets: a Bonza word grid, a sudoku and a jigsaw, under the words New puzzles daily

Netflix Puzzled gathers daily puzzles such as Bonza, Crossover, Waywords, Currents, Starstruck, Sudoku and Jigsaw on Netflix's Tudum site and in an app for iPhone and Android. Netflix says no Netflix account or membership is needed to play the daily puzzles; signing in only syncs your streak across devices. There are also themed collections tied to Netflix shows.

About Netflix Puzzled

Netflix Puzzled is Netflix's daily puzzle hub. It lives on the Tudum website and in a free app for iPhone, iPad and Android, made by Next Games, one of Netflix's own studios. You do not need a Netflix membership or account: the daily puzzles, the streak and the shareable results all work without one, and signing in only carries your streak between devices.

Each day brings a fresh puzzle in every game, grouped by the kind of thinking they ask for. The word games are Bonza, where you join word fragments into a small crossword around a theme; Crossover, where you swap letters in a mini grid until every row and column is a word; Waywords, a word search that becomes a path from start to finish with decoys to avoid; Combo, which chains overlapping phrases; and Scattergories. The logic games are Sudoku, Starstruck (one star in every row, column and colour region, none touching) and Currents, a single line through every numbered cell. The visual games are Neon, which links pairs of symbols with wires that must not cross, Snippets, which unfolds paper into rectangles to reveal a picture, and Jigsaw.

New puzzles are ready at midnight in your own time zone, and playing at least one keeps your streak alive. A Puzzle Archive holds past days if you miss one, and started puzzles wait in a Continue Playing row. Beyond the dailies there are collections themed on Netflix series and films. The app has no in-game ads, and the word games are in English only for now.

Puzzled sits closest to Puzzmo and the New York Times Games app: a home page of many short dailies rather than one puzzle. Several of its games are cousins of familiar ones (Starstruck plays like Queens or Star Battle, Currents like Zip, Neon like Flow Free), so it suits players who already do a few of those each morning and want them in one free place.

Tips

  • In Starstruck, a colour region that fits inside a single row or column fixes that line's star; mark the rest of the line as empty.
  • In Bonza, read the theme first and look for fragments that only make sense as the start or end of a word.
  • In Currents and Neon, deal with corners and edges first: those cells have the fewest ways in and out.
  • Sign in with a Netflix profile on both Tudum and the app if you switch devices; otherwise your streak stays in that one browser.
