A Daily Bonza puzzle on a phone, themed French Riviera, with letter fragments such as MAR, NES and CA spread over the board next to the BONZA logo

Bonza is one of the daily word puzzles in Netflix Puzzled. Each day brings a theme and a scatter of letter fragments; drag them together, across and down, until they form a connected grid of theme words. Play it free on Netflix Tudum or in the Puzzled app, no Netflix membership needed.

About Bonza (Netflix Puzzled)

Bonza is a word puzzle in Netflix Puzzled, the free puzzle collection Netflix runs on its Tudum website and as a phone app, made by Next Games. Netflix describes it as a crossword combined with a jigsaw: each puzzle has a theme, such as French Riviera, and the board holds short pieces of words, a letter or a few letters long.

You drag the pieces around the board. When two pieces are placed correctly they snap together into a word running across or down, and the puzzle is solved once every fragment is joined into one grid of words that fit the theme. There are no clues beyond the theme, so the work is spotting which letter runs belong together. A lightbulb button gives a hint, an undo button takes back a move, and hints can be switched off in the settings.

The Daily Bonza is dated and is the same for every player. New daily puzzles arrive at midnight local time, playing one keeps your streak going, and the Puzzle Archive holds earlier days. The app has no in-game ads and does not need a Netflix membership; its word puzzles are in English only for now.

How to play Bonza (Netflix Puzzled)

  1. Open today's Bonza on Netflix Tudum or in the Netflix Puzzled app and read the theme at the top.
  2. Drag a word fragment next to another to build a word across or down.
  3. Correctly placed pieces lock together into a word that fits the theme.
  4. Keep joining pieces until every fragment belongs to one connected grid.
  5. Tap the lightbulb for a hint if you are stuck, or undo a move.

Tips

  • Start with the longest fragments: they have the fewest ways to fit.
  • Think of words that belong to the theme first, then look for their pieces.
  • Single letters are usually where two words cross, so place them last.
