Musoplay
Hear a short tune, then play it back by ear on a colourful on-screen keyboard.
Every day: One short melody a day, the same for everyone, to hear and then play back by ear on a virtual instrument; the week runs from gentler tunes on Monday to harder ones on Friday, with player-made tunes at the weekend. New puzzle: Midnight in your own time zone (the game numbers its puzzles by your local date).

Musoplay is a daily ear-training game. Each day you listen to a short melody, try it out on coloured note buttons as often as you like, and then press Perform to play it for real while keeping your hearts. Tunes get harder from Monday to Friday, and weekends bring tunes written by players.
About Musoplay
Musoplay asks a simple question each day: can you hit the right notes? You hear a short melody, four bars long, and play it back on a row of colourful buttons, one per note. It is ear training dressed as a daily game, and its tagline is wake up your musical brain.
The main game has two stages. First you practise: listen, play what you hear, and repeat as many times as you need. Then you press Perform and play the melody for real, one bar at a time. Wrong notes cost hearts, and you want to finish with as many as you can. There is one chance at each mode per day, and a leaderboard for the day's best players.
The week has a shape. Tunes climb in difficulty from Monday to Friday, and at weekends the daily tune is one written by players. Beginners can start in Guided mode, which has colour hints and Easy, Medium and Pro levels and helps with note names. Other modes include sight-reading today's melody with a choice of clef and playing it from memory.
Musoplay is made by one person under C&O Productions and has no ads. The daily game is free with an account that saves your scores and streak, and a Musoplay+ subscription adds extras. It works in the browser and can be installed to a phone's home screen.
How to play Musoplay
- Turn your sound on and listen to today's melody.
- Play what you hear on the coloured note buttons, and practise as often as you like.
- Press Perform to play the melody for real, one bar at a time.
- Hit the right notes to keep your hearts, then compare your score on the day's leaderboard.
Tips
- Sing or hum the tune back before you touch the buttons; it is easier to find notes you can already hear in your head.
- Listen for the direction of each step, up or down and by how much, rather than trying to name notes.
- Use practice fully: there is no limit, but Perform is one chance.
- If you are new to music, start with Guided mode, which adds colour hints.
