Moviz
Rate itTwelve quick film puzzles a day, from filming locations to six degrees between actors.
Every day: Twelve film puzzles a day, one per mode (Location, Quote, Emoji Plot, Mystery Actor, Timeline and others), each the same for everyone. New puzzle: Once a day; the page does not say at what hour.

Moviz is a free site of twelve daily movie puzzles. You guess a film from a real filming location, a famous quote, an emoji plot or a one-line plot, name an actor or director from a blanked-out filmography, sort films by release year and link two actors through shared films. Each mode has one daily puzzle, the same for everyone.
About Moviz
Moviz is a browser game site in English and Italian with twelve film puzzles that reset each day. A counter on the home page tracks how many of the twelve you have solved today, and each mode has its own daily puzzle, described as one a day and the same for everyone, alongside a Campaign of six chapters that runs from Very Easy to Expert.
The modes fall into three groups. Film clues: Location shows a photo of a real filming location from Wikimedia Commons and asks where the scene was filmed; Quote gives one famous line; Emoji Plot tells the story in emoji; One-Line Plot gives a spoiler-free logline. People: Mystery Actor and Mystery Director blank out a filmography, Odd One Out asks which actor is not in the shared film, and Real or Fake asks whether a credit is real. Release logic: Timeline puts five films in order, What Year? narrows a release year with earlier or later clues, Six Degrees links two actors, and Older or Newer picks the film released first.
In Location you type a movie title, and each wrong guess unlocks another clue: genre and cast, then a famous quote and the first letter, then the scene, then the year and director. The site needs no signup and shows ads.

- Read the clue: a filming location photo, a quote, an emoji plot or a blanked filmography.
- Type your answer; in guessing modes each wrong try unlocks another clue.
- Work through the other modes until the counter reaches twelve of twelve.

Tips
- In Location, look for landmarks, signs and the style of the street before guessing.
- A wrong guess is not wasted: it opens the next clue, such as genre and cast.
- For Timeline and Older or Newer, anchor on the film whose year you are surest of.
