MadSwaps
Rate itSwap labelled tiles back to their grid spots in as few moves as you can.
Every day: One new scrambled grid of tiles every day, the same for every player: swap each tile back to the spot its label names in as few swaps as you can, earning stars for fewer moves and keeping a streak. New puzzle: Once a day; the site does not state the time.

MadSwaps is a free daily tile-swapping puzzle. Each tile carries the coordinates of its home, like A1 or C2, and arrows that say which way it may swap; you drag tiles onto neighbours until every one sits where it belongs. Fewer swaps earn more stars, and a party mode lets you race friends.
About MadSwaps
MadSwaps gives everyone the same scrambled grid each day. The columns are lettered and the rows numbered, and every tile is labelled with the square it belongs on. A tile turns green once it is in both its right column and its right row, and the puzzle is solved when the whole grid is green.
The twist is that tiles do not all move the same way. The game's tile guide names them: a New Yorker swaps one square up, down, left or right; a Crab only left and right; an Elevator only up and down; a Kitty one square diagonally; a Froggy two squares at a time; a Stationary tile never moves; and a Sleeper can only be moved when another tile swaps with it. Arrows on each tile show its moves, so the day's puzzle becomes a matter of working out which tiles need help from their neighbours to get home.
You are scored by how few swaps you use, with stars for an efficient solve, and a streak counts the days you keep playing. A party mode lets a group race through a puzzle together, and a short interactive tutorial on the how-to-play page teaches the moves on a three by three board. The game is made by MadMana, LLC, is free to play in the browser and needs no account to start.
It suits players who like the 15-puzzle, Rush Hour style jams and other move-counting puzzles, but want a fresh board with its own movement rules each day.
