Letterly
Rate itOne letter, ten categories, ninety seconds: rarer answers score more.
Every day: One letter and the same ten categories for every player in the world each day, with ninety seconds to answer; answers that fewer players gave score more. New puzzle: Midnight UTC.

Letterly is a daily categories game in the spirit of Scattergories. Everyone gets the same letter and the same ten categories each day and has ninety seconds to name something in each that starts with that letter. Answers that few other players thought of score more than common ones.
About Letterly
Letterly takes the party game of naming things by letter and turns it into one shared round a day. The page shows the date and the day's ten categories, such as Tropical fruit, Bird, Dessert, Thing in a gym and Asian country, while the letter itself stays hidden behind a question mark until you press start.
Once the letter appears you have ninety seconds to type an answer for each category. Each one must start with the day's letter and really belong to the category; proper names, brands and genuine alternative spellings count. Answers are compared with everyone else's that day, so a common answer scores less than an uncommon or unique one. Getting all ten valid is a clean sheet, which earns a bonus, and submitting early adds a speed bonus of up to 15 percent.
The result comes as a row of ten coloured squares showing how unique each answer was, with your score and streak, and you can challenge a friend to the same round. Private leagues with a six-character code let a group compare scores, and an archive keeps past rounds. A new round starts at midnight UTC.
It suits players who like Scattergories or fast word lists and enjoy hunting for the answer nobody else will give.

Tips
- Skip the obvious answer when you can think of a second one: fewer players will have it.
- Read all ten categories before you start, since the letter is the only thing hidden.
- Fill every category with something valid first, then go back for rarer answers if time allows; a clean sheet earns a bonus.
- Proper names and brands count when they truly fit the category.
