Rate itName what everyone says, then what almost nobody says, and fly your rocket further.
Every day: Two missions a day, the same for every player: Common vs Blue Moon with two categories (name three common and three rare answers for each), and The Ladder with one category where you match a rarity for four spins. New puzzle: Midnight in the player's local time, by the device's date.

Moonshot is a free daily game of categories and rarity. Each day brings two missions: name the most common answers to a prompt, then the rarest ones you know, and match a set rarity on The Ladder. Good answers push your rocket further across the solar system and keep your streak going.
About Moonshot
Moonshot is a browser game with a space theme that launched in September 2026. Every answer is a thing that fits a category, such as a fruit, an endangered animal, a famous landmark or something with a lid, and each one is scored by how many people would think of it. The rarity tiers run from Common through Uncommon, Rare, Legendary and Mythic to Once in a Blue Moon, a short list of hand-picked deep cuts for each category.
The day has two missions, the same for everyone. Common vs Blue Moon gives you two categories: first you name three common answers for each, with 15 seconds per answer and the most popular answer worth 100, then three rare ones with 30 seconds each, where a Blue Moon find is worth 100 and a common one only 5. The Ladder gives you one category and spins a rarity for each of four answers; you score 100 for an answer exactly that rare, 40 one rung off and 15 two rungs off. Your rungs are random, so friends playing the same category still get different targets.
A bullseye, a top-three answer or a Mythic or Blue Moon find makes your next answer worth one and a half times as much, and wrong guesses cost nothing. Your score becomes the distance your rocket flies, past landmarks of the solar system, and the game shows your place among everyone who flew the same mission that day. A streak counter upgrades your rocket as the days add up.
Both daily missions are free with no account. An optional one-time pass for 5 US dollars adds unlimited flights with fresh categories, a crew mode for up to five friends and one-on-one duels, and the site says half of each pass goes to the charity She Code Africa. Moonshot suits players who like survey shows such as Family Feud or Pointless and want a few quick minutes of recall each day.
How to play Moonshot
- Open moonshotdailygame.com and press Play to start the first of the day's two missions.
- In Common vs Blue Moon, type three common answers for each of the two categories, the things most people would say first.
- Then type three rare answers for each category; the less people would say it, the more it scores, with Blue Moon deep cuts worth the most.
- In The Ladder, read the rarity the ladder picks for each spin and type an answer that is exactly that rare for the category.
- Watch your rocket fly as far as your score takes it, then copy or share your result and come back the next day to keep your streak.

Tips
- In the common round, start with the most obvious answer you can think of: the number one answer is worth the most.
- Wrong guesses cost nothing, so in the rare rounds try an obscure answer before settling for a safe one.
- A Mythic or Blue Moon find doubles as a combo, making your next answer worth one and a half times as much.
