Vox Pop
Rate itGuess the top answers people gave to yesterday's survey question, then add yours to today's.
Every day: A new numbered survey question every day: you answer today's for tomorrow's board, then guess the top answers everyone gave to yesterday's, the same board for all players. New puzzle: Midnight in your local time zone.

Vox Pop is a daily survey game in the style of Family Feud. You answer today's question for tomorrow's board, then try to find the ranked top answers everyone gave to yesterday's, with five misses allowed and a bonus guess at how many people said the top answer.
About Vox Pop
Vox Pop takes its name from the street interviews TV crews run: one question, whatever people say. Each day has three steps. First you give up to three answers to today's question, such as "Name something you'd find at a grandparent's house". They are not scored; they go into the board that everyone plays tomorrow.
Then comes the game: yesterday's question with its top answers hidden, ranked from the most common down. The top answer is worth the most points and each lower one a point less. You type guesses, and five wrong ones end the round. If you are stuck you can reveal a letter for a point, up to three times, or give up and see the board.
Last is a bonus poll: guess what share of people gave the number one answer. Within 2 percent earns 5 points, within 5 earns 3 and within 10 earns 1. Your result shows your score out of the day's maximum and a row of squares for the answers you found. The page also shows the day's weirdest answer, one only a single person gave, and you can suggest questions or play other boards for practice.
The tagline is "Originality will not be rewarded": it suits players who like guessing what most people would say more than finding a single right answer.
How to play Vox Pop

- Find as many ranked answers as you can before five misses; reveal a letter for a point if stuck.

Tips
- Go for the plainest answer first: the top spots are the ones most people think of straight away.
- Higher-ranked answers are worth more, so spend your misses on common answers before odd ones.
- A revealed letter costs only a point, cheaper than a miss when you are close.
- For the bonus poll, a top answer rarely takes a large share when a question has many possible answers.
Questions
Is Vox Pop the same for everyone?
Yes. Everyone plays the same board each day, built from the answers players gave to the previous day's question.
When does Vox Pop reset?
At midnight on your device's clock; the result screen counts down to the next question.
Are my own answers scored?
No. The answers you give to today's question only help build tomorrow's board.
Do I need an account?
No. You play in the browser and your played count and streak are kept there.
