Lands of Fury is a top-down roguelite action RPG in which you fight your way up the mountain of Metra, building a class out of weapons, runes and companions. Alongside normal runs it offers a Daily Run, and the store page invites players to compete in daily runs for a place on the leaderboards.
About Lands of Fury
Lands of Fury is a combat-driven roguelite ARPG by the solo developer Fife (Filip), published by Hyper Fox Studios. It entered Early Access on Steam on 28 May 2026 for Windows and Linux. You crash at the base of the mountain Metra and try to reach the peak through explorable areas, narrow paths and locked arena fights.
There are no classes: you build one from the weapons, cartridges, runes and items you find, and fill a Fury bar in combat to release rune-based attacks. Before each run you pick one companion, and a second player can take control of that companion in shared-screen co-op or through Steam Remote Play Together. When you fall you lose your gear but keep meta tokens and unlocked skills.
The Daily Run is started from the fox statue in camp, and an early patch added a "What is a Daily Run?" explanation there. The launch notes list daily runs with leaderboards among the core features. Later updates added new lands, mega bosses, merchants and a choice of route up the mountain.
It suits players who like real-time roguelites such as Dead Cells or The Binding of Isaac and want a daily run to compare against others.
How to play Lands of Fury
- Buy and install Lands of Fury from Steam (Windows or Linux).
- In camp, go to the fox statue and choose Start Daily Run.
- Pick a companion and fight up the mountain, combining weapons, runes and items into a build.
- Fill the Fury bar in fights and unleash rune attacks, then see where your result lands on the leaderboard.
