Hyperlinked
Click from one Wikipedia article to the day's target in 10 clicks or less.
Every day: One dated Daily Challenge a day, the same for every player: a starting Wikipedia article and a target article, to be joined in 10 clicks or fewer.

Hyperlinked is a daily Wikipedia race. Each day's challenge gives everyone the same starting article and the same target, and you have 10 clicks on the article links to get from one to the other.
About Hyperlinked
Hyperlinked takes the old Wikipedia race, where you get from one article to another only by clicking the links inside the articles, and turns it into a single dated puzzle a day. The top of the screen shows the date, the start article, the target article and how many of your 10 clicks are left.
The article itself loads below in a familiar Wikipedia layout. You read, pick a link that seems to lead somewhere closer to the target, and keep going until you land on the target page or run out of clicks. The pairs are often far apart: a 2008 war documentary as the start and a little-known person as the target, so the fun is in finding a broad page that opens up the route.
The click limit is what sets it apart from open-ended Wikipedia races such as The Wiki Game Daily or Rabbit Hole, where the count is a score rather than a wall. Here every click is a resource, which rewards thinking before you click. It runs in the browser, needs no account and is free.
How to play Hyperlinked
- Open hyperlinked.wiki and choose Daily Challenge.
- Read the start article and the target article named at the top of the screen.
- Click a link inside the article to move to a new page; each click uses one of your 10.
- Keep following links until you reach the target article.
- Win by landing on the target before your clicks run out.
Tips
- Head for broad pages first: a country, a decade or a big field like film or science links to far more pages than a narrow one.
- Look at what the target is (a person, a place, a work) and steer toward the kind of page that would mention it.
- Biographies often link to a home town or a university, which are good bridges.
