Rate itRoll a golden ball to the key, pick up gems and reach the exit of the day's maze.
Every day: One daily maze for each of three sizes (5x5, 7x7 and 9x9), the same layout for every player on that UTC date, with a key to find, three optional gems and an exit. New puzzle: Midnight UTC.

Goblin Maze is a free browser maze from Goblin Arcade. Each day it serves the same small, medium and large maze to every player: steer a golden ball to a gold key, collect up to three gems on the way and reach the exit. Your score rewards a short route and the gems you pick up.
About Goblin Maze
Goblin Maze is a ball maze made by Goblin Originals and published on Goblin Arcade in September 2026. It runs in the browser on a computer or a phone, with no download and no account.
The game has a Daily mode and a New maze button. Daily mode uses the current UTC date to build the layout, so everyone who picks the same size that day gets the same maze. There are three sizes: a small 5 by 5, a medium 7 by 7 and a large 9 by 9 grid. New maze gives a random layout whenever you want another one.
A run starts with the ball in the top-left corner. You need to pick up the gold key before the exit in the bottom-right corner opens. Three blue gems sit in side passages and are optional. The score compares your step count with the shortest route through the key, adds 250 points for each gem and takes off 100 points for each hint. That leaves a choice on every maze: take the shortest route, or detour for gems and accept the extra steps.
There is no timer, so you can stop and plan between moves. You steer by dragging and holding on the maze, with the on-screen arrow buttons, or with the arrow keys or WASD. The current run is not saved, so reloading the page or changing the size starts it again.
It suits players who want a short, calm puzzle with a daily layout to compare, and anyone looking for a maze that works well on a phone.
How to play Goblin Maze
- Open Goblin Maze, pick Small, Medium or Large and make sure Daily is selected for the shared maze of the day.
- Press Play, then drag and hold inside the maze, tap the arrow buttons, or hold the arrow keys or WASD to roll the ball.
- Find the gold key first: the exit in the bottom-right corner stays locked until you have it.
- Collect any of the three blue gems you want along the way; each adds 250 points.
- Roll onto the exit to finish and see your score, which compares your steps with the shortest route through the key.
Tips
- Look down the side passages for gems before heading to the exit, since each gem is worth 250 points.
- Save the Hint button for when you are really stuck: it shows the next four cells toward the key or exit and costs 100 points.
- Decide early whether you are going for the fewest steps or the highest total, because collecting every gem can be worth the detour.
- Do not reload the page or change the size mid-run, as either one restarts the current maze.
Questions
When does the Goblin Maze daily maze change?
At midnight UTC. Daily mode builds the layout from the current UTC date, so everyone gets the same maze for each size until then.
Is Goblin Maze free?
Yes. It plays free in the browser with no download and no account.
Is there a time limit?
No. There is no countdown; your score comes from your route, the gems you collect and the hints you use.
Can I play more than the daily maze?
Yes. The New maze button makes a random layout whenever you want another, and each of the three sizes has its own daily maze.
