Maze Of Rooms (BrainBashers)
Click the mouse from room to room until it finds the cheese.
Every day: Four new Maze Of Rooms grids every day (3x3 and 4x4 Easy, 5x5 Medium, 6x6 Hard), dated and the same for every visitor, plus a 7x7 weekly special. New puzzle: Midnight GMT (the site lets you set your own time zone).

Maze Of Rooms on BrainBashers is a light daily maze. A mouse sits in a grid of rooms, one of which holds a piece of cheese, and you keep clicking a mouse to explore until you reach it, or run into a surprise. The page counts your attempts.
About Maze Of Rooms (BrainBashers)
Maze Of Rooms is one of the gentler daily items on Kevin Stone's BrainBashers. The board is a square grid of rooms with a mouse in one of them. Somewhere in the grid is a piece of cheese, and the game's one rule is to keep clicking a mouse until you find the cheese in the final room. The site hints that you might find a surprise along the way, and the play page keeps a count of your attempts, with restart and new buttons.
Each day brings four mazes that grow with the difficulty: 3x3 and 4x4 at Easy, 5x5 at Medium and 6x6 at Hard, with a 7x7 weekly special. Kevin Stone has also made a single 8x8 maze that, in his words, might take more than one attempt.
Like every daily item on the site, the mazes change at midnight GMT or at the time zone you set, and earlier days stay in the date list for a few weeks. The site has no adverts and no account.
It is a short, playful break between the site's heavier logic grids, and children can enjoy it too.
How to play Maze Of Rooms (BrainBashers)
- Open the Daily Maze Of Rooms page and pick one of today's sizes.
- Click the mouse to move it on through the rooms.
- Keep clicking and watch where it goes; some rooms hold a surprise.
- Reach the room with the cheese to finish; the attempt counter shows how many tries it took.
- Use restart to try again, and come back after midnight GMT for new mazes.
Tips
- Start with the 3x3 to see how the rooms behave before trying the 6x6 Hard.
- Keep a note of the rooms you have already tried so you do not repeat them on the next attempt.
- Try the 8x8 bonus maze when the daily ones feel easy.
