Synthmaze
A synthwave tile puzzle: rearrange arrow tiles so the rocket reaches the flag.
Every day: One dated maze a day, the same for everyone: move tiles so the rocket's arrows lead it to the flag. New puzzle: Once a day.

Synthmaze is a browser puzzle from heliante.io with a synthwave look and soundtrack. In each maze you move tiles to lay a path of arrows that carries a rocket from its start to the flag without hitting blocks or walls. Alongside the levels, which are grouped into quadrants, there is a daily puzzle with its own date.
About Synthmaze
Synthmaze, by heliante.io, is a grid puzzle in neon pinks and purples, with an optional synthwave soundtrack. Each maze has a rocket, a flag and a set of tiles. Some tiles carry arrows that turn the rocket as it passes over them. You move the tiles around to build a route, for the rocket to follow. It must reach the flag without colliding with a block or a wall.
The game's tips spell out the rules. Some tiles are fixed and cannot be moved or replaced. In the levels, several solutions may exist, but only one lets you collect all the stars, and every arrow has to be used by the rocket to get them all: there are no misleading or useless arrows. An arrow should never point at a block or a wall, at least in the early puzzles. Later puzzles add new ways for the rocket to travel, such as frail tiles and warps.
Stars from the levels unlock further puzzles. The levels are grouped into quadrants named after Greek letters, from Alpha to Eta, and you open each new quadrant by collecting stars.
The daily puzzle is separate. The game ships a list of mazes keyed by date, one for each day, so everyone gets the same maze on the same day. The daily mazes do not use stars; the game hints that the daily may carry a special reward instead, and it counts how many dailies you have solved, with milestones at 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 and 200 days and a whole year.
How to play Synthmaze
- Open the daily puzzle to get today's maze.
- Move the movable tiles to build a route of arrows from the rocket to the flag; fixed tiles stay where they are.
- Make sure no arrow sends the rocket into a block or a wall.
- Check that the rocket reaches the flag by following your arrows.
Tips
- Start from the flag and work backwards to the rocket.
- In the levels, every arrow is meant to be used: if one is left over, your route is not the intended one.
- Turn on the soundtrack from the menu if you like the synthwave setting.
