Pipe Garden

Every day: Three daily gardens, one each for the 3x3, 4x4 and 5x5 sizes, built from the UTC date so everyone gets the same layout for that size that day. New puzzle: Midnight UTC.

Pipe Garden is a free browser puzzle from Goblin Arcade where you rotate pipe tiles until water from a spring in the corner flows to every tile. Each day brings a shared garden in three sizes, 3x3, 4x4 and 5x5, and your score drops with every turn you take.
About Pipe Garden
Pipe Garden is a rotation puzzle made by Goblin Originals for the Goblin Arcade site, published in September 2026. The board is a square garden of tiles, each carrying a piece of pipe: a straight, a bend, a T or a dead end. A golden spring sits in the top-left corner, and the goal is to turn the tiles until one connected network carries its water to every square.
Daily mode builds the puzzle from the current UTC date, so everyone who picks the same board size that day gets the same garden. There are three sizes, 3x3, 4x4 and 5x5, which makes three daily puzzles that step up in difficulty. A New puzzle button deals a random garden whenever you want more practice.
Each click or tap turns a tile 90 degrees clockwise, and tiles light up as water reaches them, so you can see how far the network has spread. There is no timer and no move limit. Instead, every rotation and every undo counts as a turn, and the score starts at 2,000 and loses 10 points per turn. Each garden starts as a connected network before it is scrambled, so a solution always exists.
It plays in any browser on a phone or a computer, with no download or account, and can be played from the keyboard as well. It suits players of Pipes, Net or Network puzzles who want a short daily board with a clear score.
How to play Pipe Garden
- Open Pipe Garden and choose a board size: 3x3, 4x4 or 5x5. Daily mode is on by default.
- Press Play to reveal the scrambled garden.
- Click or tap a tile to turn it 90 degrees clockwise, or move between tiles with Tab or the arrow keys and turn the selected one with Enter or Space.
- Work outward from the golden spring in the top-left corner; tiles light up as water reaches them.
- Finish when every tile is connected to the spring. Fewer turns leave you a higher score.
Tips
- Start at the edges: a pipe end pointing off the board can never carry water, which fixes many edge and corner tiles.
- Follow the watered tiles out from the spring and finish one dry branch before starting another.
- Undo also costs a turn, so think a tile through before turning it.
- Reloading the page starts the current garden over.
Questions
When does the daily Pipe Garden change?
The daily gardens are built from the UTC date, so new ones appear at midnight UTC.
Is everyone's daily puzzle the same?
Yes, for each board size. Everyone who plays the daily 4x4 on the same day gets the same layout, and the same goes for 3x3 and 5x5.
Does every garden have a solution?
Yes. Each layout starts as a connected pipe network before the tiles are turned, so turning them back always solves it.
Do I need an account?
No. It is free in the browser with no download or sign-up.
