A Flow Free: Bridges 5x5 level with coloured pipes, a red pipe crossing a yellow one on a bridge

Flow Free: Bridges is Big Duck Games' sequel to Flow Free, adding bridge squares where two pipes can cross. Besides more than 2,500 free-play levels it has a Daily Puzzles pack that changes each day, with a varying number of boards, the same for every player on that date.

About Flow Free: Bridges

Flow Free: Bridges was released in 2012 by Big Duck Games, the studio behind Flow Free. The goal is the same as the original: connect each pair of matching coloured dots with a pipe and fill every square of the board. The new element is the bridge, a square where one pipe passes over another, which opens up layouts the original could not have.

The Daily Puzzles pack, added in 2015, changes every day. It holds a varying number of levels, often from two up to a dozen, in different board sizes. The daily set is fixed by date, so all players see the same boards on a given day: solution sites publish each day's Bridges puzzles in advance, and players note that changing a phone's date shows the next day's set. Playing on consecutive days builds a streak, and missing a day takes just one day off it rather than resetting it.

Outside the dailies there are many level packs, weekly puzzles and a Time Trial mode. The game is free with ads, with hints and packs for sale.

It suits players who like calm path puzzles and want a short daily set on top of a large back catalogue.

How to play Flow Free: Bridges

  1. Open the Daily Puzzles pack from the main menu.
  2. Drag from a coloured dot to draw a pipe to its matching dot.
  3. Cross other pipes only on bridge squares, and fill every square of the board.
  4. Finish all of today's boards to extend your streak.

Tips

  • Start with colours whose dots are close to the edges or corners.
  • Use the bridges: often two long pipes must cross there.
  • A perfect solve connects each colour in one move without redrawing.
