Flow Fit board with coloured letter blocks spelling WORDS, SOLVE and SAGE, captioned Fit Blocks, Make Words

Flow Fit is a word puzzle from Big Duck Games, the studio behind Flow Free. Each puzzle gives you blocks of letters to fit into a grid like jigsaw pieces so that the rows and columns form words, a bit like building a crossword. Alongside more than 1,000 themed puzzles, it adds new daily puzzles on a weekly cycle of themes.

About Flow Fit - Word Puzzle

Flow Fit mixes a crossword with a jigsaw. Instead of clues, you get a set of coloured blocks, each carrying a few letters in a fixed shape, and a grid to fill. Drag the blocks into place so that every across and down run reads as a real word. When the board is complete, the game shows a short trivia fact linked to the theme, such as a pop star's pet's name.

The game comes from Big Duck Games, maker of Flow Free, and its puzzles are written by crossword constructors whose work has appeared in The New York Times. The main collection has more than 1,000 puzzles across categories like animals, celebrities, movies and travel, with different board shapes and difficulty levels.

The daily puzzles follow a themed week: Music Monday, Tasty Tuesday, Worldwide Wednesday, Thinker Thursday, Film Friday, Superstar Saturday and Sunday Funday. Solving them keeps a daily winning streak going, and progress syncs to the cloud.

It suits crossword fans who want something more hands-on, and players who enjoy spatial puzzles with a word twist.
