Dissembler
Unravel abstract tile designs one colour at a time, with a free daily puzzle and its solution the next day.
Every day: Free daily puzzles, with a step-by-step solution to each one revealed the next day. New puzzle: Once a day.

Dissembler is a minimalist puzzle game by Ian MacLarty, published by Shape Shop in 2018. You swap pairs of adjacent tiles so that groups of the same colour vanish, aiming to clear the whole design, and besides 170 or more hand-made levels it offers free daily puzzles whose solutions are shown the following day.
About Dissembler
Dissembler looks like a match-three game but plays like a logic puzzle. Each level is an abstract design of coloured tiles. You flip two neighbouring tiles, and any group of three or more matching tiles disappears. Nothing falls in to replace them, so the goal is to remove every tile and leave a clean slate, which usually means working out the order of moves in advance.
The main game has more than 170 hand-made puzzles with no randomness, unlimited undo without penalty and a colour-blind mode. On top of these, the game offers free daily puzzles, and a step-by-step solution to each daily is revealed the next day, so everyone can check the intended answer once the day is over. An Infinite mode adds endless play with online leaderboards.
The game is a one-time purchase on Steam for Windows, macOS and Linux, and on the App Store, with no in-app purchases needed.
It suits players who like calm, exact puzzles where one wrong swap ruins the plan, in the spirit of tile-clearing and Sokoban-style games.
How to play Dissembler
- Open the daily puzzle from the menu.
- Swap two neighbouring tiles to form a group of three or more of the same colour.
- Matched groups vanish, and no new tiles drop in.
- Clear every tile from the board; check the solution the next day if you get stuck.

Tips
- Work backwards: decide which group should vanish last.
- Undo is free, so test ideas without worry.
- Watch for lone tiles that can only be matched in one way.
