Daily Map Challenge (World Flag Map)
Ten country shapes a day: name each one from its outline and place on the map.
Every day: Ten real country outlines and locations a day, the same for everyone: identify each highlighted country, with a daily top 10. New puzzle: Midnight UTC (stated on the page).

World Flag Map's Daily Map Challenge highlights ten countries on a map, one at a time, and asks you to name each from its real shape and position. Everyone gets the same ten, with a new set at midnight UTC, and your first finished attempt can go on the day's top 10.
About Daily Map Challenge (World Flag Map)
The Daily Map Challenge is one of two daily games on World Flag Map, an interactive atlas of the world's 195 country flags; the other is a daily flag quiz. In the map game each round shows a country highlighted in its real outline, with the surrounding land and, for small countries, a world locator to help you place it.
You name the country and move on through ten rounds. Your score leads on the daily board and time breaks ties. The first completed attempt is checked by the server and can be entered on the daily top 10 under a name you choose or a generated explorer alias; replays stay open but do not count. No account is needed.
After the game a round recap points you to the countries that caught you out, with links to their atlas pages, and unlimited map practice is available for more. It suits players of Worldle who want ten outlines a day instead of one.
How to play Daily Map Challenge (World Flag Map)
- Open worldflagmap.com/games/daily/map/ and start today's map.
- Look at the highlighted country, its outline and its surroundings.
- Use the world locator for small countries, then name the country.
- Go through all ten rounds.
- Add a name to the daily top 10 if you like and share your result.
Tips
- Neighbouring coastlines and borders often give a country away faster than its own outline.
- For small states, check the world locator first to know which region you are in.
- Replays do not count, so take your time on the first attempt.
