Checkerso Daily
Rate itBeat the computer from the same checkers opening everyone gets today.
Every day: One American checkers opening per calendar date, the same for every player, played against a computer that is Easy on Monday, Medium Tuesday to Friday and Hard on the weekend. New puzzle: Local midnight, by your own time zone.

Checkerso Daily gives every player the same American checkers starting position each day and pits you against a computer opponent. The opponent is easy on Mondays, medium through the week and hard at the weekend, and a calendar lets you play any day back to 1 September 2026.
About Checkerso Daily
Checkerso Daily is the daily mode of Checkerso, a browser site for checkers and its variants. Each calendar date has one fixed opening position, and everyone who plays that date starts from the same board. From there you play a full game of American checkers against the computer.
The rules are the standard American ones: jumps are compulsory, kings move one square at a time, and a piece that reaches the far row is crowned and its turn ends. Only the opening is fixed for the day. The opponent's strength follows the week: Easy on Monday, Medium from Tuesday to Friday, and Hard on Saturday and Sunday. There is no difficulty switch.
The daily page shows a month calendar next to the board. A win marks the date with a gold star and a game finished without a win leaves an outline star, and a count under the month title shows how many you have won that month. Dates from 1 September 2026 to today can be played, and you can replay any day as often as you like. Undo and Hint are available as in free play.
When you finish you can share a short line with the result, the number of moves and the time, without showing the board. A shared link opens that day's position for the person who gets it, even a date before the calendar starts. The daily mode is free and plays without an account.
It suits checkers players who want one game a day with a set opponent, and anyone who likes the week's rising difficulty found in daily chess puzzles.
How to play Checkerso Daily
- Open checkerso.com/daily; today's date is selected on the calendar and its opening position is shown.
- Press Play to start the game from that position against the computer.
- Move a piece diagonally forward to an empty dark square; when a jump is available you must take it.
- Reach the far row to crown a king, which can then move backward as well.
- Play until one side has no pieces or no moves; a win puts a gold star on the date.
- Share the result line, or pick an earlier date on the calendar to play it.

Tips
- Check the day of the week before you start: Saturday and Sunday games are against the Hard computer.
- Because jumps are forced, look for moves that offer a piece and force the computer into a double jump for you.
- Use Undo to explore a line you are unsure of, then play the version that works.
- Keep your back row in place early to stop the computer from crowning kings.
