BeerGuessr
Rate itSee a beer, drop a pin where it is brewed, and score by how close you get.
Every day: Five beers a day, the same for every player, each played once. You drop a pin where each beer is brewed, scored by distance, and your total goes on a daily leaderboard. New puzzle: Midnight Central European Time (the leaderboard counted down to 22:00 UTC in October).

BeerGuessr is a map game about beer. Each day brings five beers, the same for everyone: you see a can or bottle and its name, then place a pin where its brewery is. The closer the pin, the more points, and your day's total goes on a shared leaderboard.
About BeerGuessr
BeerGuessr works like a pin-drop geography game, but the clue is a beer instead of a street view. You see a photo of a can or bottle with the beer's name, then tap a world map where you think it is brewed. The game measures the distance and gives up to 5,000 points a round.
The daily game is five rounds, numbered (the 17th ran on October 17, 2026), and every player gets the same five beers. You get one shot at each, and when you finish your score is ranked on that day's leaderboard, which also keeps the previous day's board. A countdown on the leaderboard shows when the next set of beers arrives.
Beside the daily there is free play: unlimited games where you choose a difficulty, from Easy (beers everyone knows) through Medium (for beer lovers) to Hard (for connoisseurs). The site says it holds more than 500 beers from Belgium to Japan, and it has an encyclopedia that shows every beer on a map with its story, plus guides on Trappist beer, beer styles and the oldest breweries.
It suits people who like GeoGuessr-style map games and know their way around a beer list. You do not need an account to play the daily. The same makers run WineGuessr, which does the same with wines.
How to play BeerGuessr

- Tap the world map where you think its brewery is; zoom in to place the pin more exactly.
- Confirm the pin to see where the beer is really brewed and how many points your distance earned, up to 5,000.
- Play all five rounds, then check your total on the day's leaderboard.

Tips
- Read the label: words in German, Dutch, Czech or Japanese often point to the country before you place the pin.
- Big international brands are often brewed in many places, but the game scores the brewery it names, usually the brand's home city.
- Use free play on Easy to learn the well-known brewing cities before trying to climb the daily board.
- Zoom in before you drop the pin: a guess in the right country but the wrong region still loses points.
