Beeb
Place every coloured piece so it touches its own colour at a corner but never along an edge.
Every day: One 8x8 colour block board a day, the same for everyone at the same difficulty, with three chances to place every piece. New puzzle: Midnight in your own time zone, as the game's help text states.

Beeb is a daily colour block puzzle on GeorgeMike.com. An 8x8 board starts with coloured blocks, and you must fit every piece from the tray so each one meets its own colour corner to corner and never side by side. Pieces do not rotate, placements are final, and you get three chances a day.
About Beeb
Beeb's board is an 8x8 grid seeded with coloured blocks. Below it sits a tray of coloured pieces of different shapes. The rule is borrowed from corner-touch games: a piece has to land on empty squares and touch a block of its own colour at a corner, and it may never touch its own colour along an edge. Other colours can touch it freely. Once placed, a piece becomes a block of its colour, so later pieces of the same colour can chain off it.
The pieces are played exactly as shown, with no rotating, and in any order you like. A placement cannot be undone, but you get three chances a day: hit a dead end and you can start the board again. Many pieces have several spots that look right, and only a few arrangements place them all. Two difficulties are set in Settings: Easier starts with the biggest piece already placed, Harder gives you the whole board. View Solution plays out the answer, but using it counts as a miss for the day.
There is one puzzle a day, the same board for everyone at the same difficulty, and it changes at your local midnight. Results are kept in the browser, with a streak.
How to play Beeb
- Open Beeb and, if you like, pick Easier or Harder in Settings.
- Drag a piece from the tray onto empty squares of the board.
- Make sure it touches a block of its own colour at a corner and never along an edge.
- Place every piece in the tray; if you get stuck, use one of your three chances to restart.
- Share your result; View Solution shows the answer but counts as a miss.
Tips
- Start with the largest or most awkward piece, while there is still room for it.
- Check every edge of a piece against its own colour before you drop it, since placements are final.
- Remember each placed piece gives new corners for the next piece of that colour.
