YGOdle

YGOdle's Monsters mode: 'Guess today's Yu-Gi-Oh monster card' with the search box and the card, type, race, level, ATK, DEF, attribute and release year columns

YGOdle is a fan-made daily guessing game for Yu-Gi-Oh players. Each day there is a hidden monster card, spell card and trap card to find, and every guess shows how close its type, race, level, ATK, DEF, attribute and release year are.

About YGOdle

YGOdle takes the attribute-column guessing of games like LoLdle and applies it to the Yu-Gi-Oh trading card game. In the Monsters mode you type the name of any monster card, and the game compares it with the day's hidden card across eight columns: the card itself, its type, race, level, ATK, DEF, attribute and release year. Matching columns light up, and arrows on the number columns say whether to go higher or lower.

Spells and Traps work the same way with their own card pools, and OverUnder asks which of two monsters has the higher ATK. All the hidden cards change once a day and are the same for every player; once you solve one, the page shows yesterday's answer and counts down to the next card.

It is a fan project with no account needed, and it suits players who know their card database well: release years and exact ATK values are where most guesses are won or lost.

How to play YGOdle

  1. Pick a mode on the home page: Monsters, Spells, Traps or OverUnder.
  2. Type a card name in the search box and choose it from the list.
  3. Read the columns: matches turn green, and arrows show whether level, ATK, DEF or year should be higher or lower.
  4. Keep guessing until you find the day's card.
  5. Come back when the countdown ends for the next cards.

Tips

  • Start with a mid-level monster so the level and ATK arrows narrow things quickly.
  • Release year cuts the pool sharply: pin it down early.
  • Check the Special Cases note for how the game treats cards with unusual stats.
