Wortsuche (Tages-Anzeiger)
The Tages-Anzeiger's German Wordle: the daily word in six tries.
Every day: One five-letter German word a day, the same for every reader, to find in six tries. New puzzle: Daily.

Wortsuche is the Wordle of the Tages-Anzeiger: each day there is one German word of five letters to find in six tries, with coloured letters showing what is right, misplaced or missing.
About Wortsuche (Tages-Anzeiger)
Despite its name, which means word search, Wortsuche is a Wordle-style game: the app describes it as finding the daily word in six tries. Every reader gets the same five-letter German word each day.
You type a German word, and each letter turns green if it is in the right place, yellow if it is in the word but elsewhere, and grey if it is not there. Six tries are allowed, and the result can be shared.
The Tages-Anzeiger, the Zurich daily newspaper, gathers its puzzles under TA Spiele, in the browser and in its app, with daily games such as Mosaik, Wortsuche, Pinpoint, Flow and Bimaru alongside the classic sudoku and crossword. Each game keeps an archive of earlier days.
It suits German speakers who want a Swiss newspaper's take on Wordle.
