About Wordola

Wordola is a short browser word game pitched at a commute or a coffee break. Each day there is one 4x4 board of letters, shared by every player, and one 90-second round that starts as soon as the board appears.

You spell words by dragging across neighbouring tiles, including diagonals, and release to submit. A word needs at least three letters, each tile can be used once per word, and each word counts only once. A three-letter word is worth 1 point and every extra letter adds 1, while your longest word scores double.

The twist is the cover goal: the game tracks which of the sixteen tiles have appeared in your words. Once every tile has been used, Bonus Mode switches on and every further new word earns an extra point. So the best rounds mix long words for points with short ones that reach awkward corners of the board.

It suits players who like fast Boggle-style searching but only have a minute or two. There is a short tutorial on first visit, no account, and a result you can share.

How to play Wordola

1. Open wordola.app and start today's board; the 90-second clock starts at once.
2. Drag across touching letters, including diagonals, to spell a word of three or more letters.
3. Release to submit the word; each tile can be used only once per word.
4. Try to use all sixteen tiles across your words to unlock Bonus Mode.
5. Keep finding new words until time runs out, then share your score.

Tips

• Grab short words first, then extend them with nearby letters into longer ones.
• Watch for corner tiles and rare letters; you need them to cover the board.
• After the board is covered, rattle off quick short words for Bonus Mode points.
