Every day: Five Old School RuneScape items a day, the same five for every player on the same date, each to name from its silhouette with one guess. New puzzle: Midnight in your device's local time.

Who's That Item? is a free daily picture quiz for Old School RuneScape players. Each day it shows five items as black silhouettes of their inventory icons, and you get one guess at each; your score is how many of the five you name.
About Who's That Item?
Who's That Item? is the item twin of Who's That Monster?, both on Skel's Games, the site of daily Old School RuneScape puzzles built by Skeldoor that also runs Questdle, Skilldle, Examindle and Shrimpillion. The site sums it up as the same idea, but for the contents of your bank. Each day picks five items from a list of about four hundred, from the 3rd Age pieces to Zuriel's robes, in an order fixed by the date, so everyone playing that day sees the same five.
A round shows one item's inventory picture as a solid black, blocky outline. You start typing and pick a name from the suggestions, or skip. There is one guess per round: right or wrong, the picture is then shown in colour with the item's name and its examine text, and you move on.
After five rounds a results screen gives your score out of five with a short verdict and a list of the five items with ticks and crosses, counts down to the next set at midnight, and offers a button to Who's That Monster?. A streak counts the days in a row you have played.
It suits players who know their gear and rare drops by shape alone, many of the answers being weapons, armour pieces and jewellery. It is free in the browser and needs no account; progress is kept in the browser.
How to play Who's That Item?
- Open skelsgames.com/item.
- Look at the black silhouette of the item's inventory picture and start typing its name.
- Pick a name from the suggestions and press Guess, or Skip.
- See the item revealed with its name and examine text, then press Next.
- After five rounds, read your score out of five and come back after midnight for the next set.
Tips
- Inventory pictures are drawn at an angle: blades and staffs run corner to corner, so look at the ends for the hilt or the orb.
- Many items come in sets and metal tiers that share an outline; if the shape fits several, guess the one you have seen most often in drops.
- With one guess per round, pick from the suggestion list so a spelling slip does not cost the round.
