Watch Connections (Tick)
Rate itSort sixteen watch brands, models and nicknames into four hidden groups of four.
Every day: One numbered Watch Connections board a day (Puzzle #4 on 7 October 2026), the same for every player: sixteen watch names to sort into four groups of four. The same page also sets four Watch Guess mystery watches a day, one per price tier. New puzzle: Midnight, local time; a countdown on the home page shows when the next puzzle arrives.

Watch Connections is the daily grouping puzzle on Tick, a small site of watch games. Each day you sort sixteen watch names into four hidden groups of four before your fourth mistake. The same page also holds Watch Guess, where you name one mystery watch in each of four price tiers.
About Watch Connections (Tick)
Tick is a site of daily puzzles for people who like watches, and Watch Connections is the game at the top of its page. Each day's board is numbered, the same for everyone, and holds sixteen tiles such as Monaco, Daytona, Seiko, Nomos or Carrera.
The tiles split into four groups of four that share something: nicknames, models from one maker, brands from one country or group, or a piece of watch trivia. You pick four tiles and submit them. A right group locks in with its colour and title, a wrong one costs one of your four mistakes, and the game tells you when you are one tile away. Shuffle and Deselect all help when the board looks stuck.
The site's second daily is Watch Guess, which sets one mystery watch in each of four price tiers: Budget (under $1k), Mid-range ($1k to $5k), Luxury ($5k to $20k) and Grail ($20k and up). You get six guesses per tier, and each guess is compared with the answer on brand, country, style, movement, case size, price and year. An Easy mode unlocks catalog filters for style, movement and country and hides watches your clues have ruled out.
Results, streaks and a mistakes chart are kept in your browser, and you can copy a result to share. For newcomers, a Watch 101 page explains the main watch styles, how movements work and which groups own which brands.
How to play Watch Connections (Tick)
- Open tick.cafe and press Play on Watch Connections.
- Select four tiles you think share something and press Submit.
- A right group locks in with its title; a wrong guess uses one of your four mistakes, and One away means three of your four belong together.
- Keep going until all four groups are found, then share your result.
- Go back to the home page to play the four Watch Guess tiers, six guesses each.

Tips
- Look for tiles that could fit two groups, such as a name that is both a model and a nickname, and place the safe groups first.
- Brands from one country or one owning group are a common theme, so think about who owns whom.
- In Watch Guess, a brand marked close means the answer is from the same group of brands, which narrows things fast.
- Read Watch 101 before playing if the brand groups are new to you.
