Wantedle start screen with the wanted poster, grade and timer panel and a Tap to start board

Wantedle is a quick daily reflex game. A wanted poster shows one emoji, and you must tap it among a crowd of other characters as fast as possible. Wrong taps add three seconds, and your total time earns a grade from S down to F.

About Wantedle

Wantedle is a free browser game inspired by the classic find-the-wanted-face challenge. On the left a wanted poster shows the target emoji; on the right a board fills with emoji, and somewhere among them is the one you are looking for.

You tap the target to clear the round. Tapping the wrong character adds a three-second penalty. The daily challenge runs through rounds of rising difficulty, from easy to hard, with more and more similar decoys. Your total time sets a grade from S at the top through A, B, C and D to F.

The daily board is generated from the date, so everyone faces the same rounds. After finishing you can see global statistics and the day's grade distribution, copy your result to share, and come back tomorrow for a new challenge.

It takes about a minute and suits anyone who enjoys visual search games and quick reactions.

How to play Wantedle

  1. Open Wantedle and press Tap to start.
  2. Look at the emoji on the wanted poster.
  3. Find that emoji on the board and tap it.
  4. Avoid wrong taps; each one adds three seconds.
  5. Clear every round as fast as you can for the best grade.

Tips

  • Scan the board in rows rather than jumping around.
  • Look for the target's colour first, then its shape.
  • Do not guess; a wrong tap costs more time than a careful look.
