Tokentuition
Rate itGuess the next word of a sentence and score by how likely the day's language model found it.
Every day: One dated challenge a day, the same for every player: 5 sentences (levels) of 5 next-word steps each, 25 picks in all. One model writes the openings and a second, named model continues them; daily, weekly and all-time leaderboards for signed-in players. New puzzle: Midnight UTC.

Tokentuition is a daily word game about how language models write. Each day brings five sentence openings; at each of five steps you pick the word you think a named model would write next from six choices, and you score by the share of probability the model gave your pick.
About Tokentuition
Tokentuition shows you the start of a sentence, such as When the classroom lights, and six words that could come next. You pick one and lock it in. The game then shows what share each choice got from the day's language model, marks the word the model actually wrote, and moves the sentence on by that word.
The day's challenge is the same for everyone and is tied to the date. One model writes the openings and a second, named on the page, continues them at temperature 0, so the sentence always follows that model's top choice whatever you pick. On 7 October 2026 the openings came from GPT-6 Sol and the continuation from DeepSeek V4.1 Flash. There are five levels of five steps, 25 picks in all.
Scoring rewards being close to the model rather than only being right. Points are 100 times your choice's share divided by the top choice's share, times a difficulty factor that rises when the top choice is less dominant. Match is your average share of the available credit and Exact counts picks that matched the model's word.
The percentages are adjusted shares, built from the square root of each word's first-token probability and normalised to 100 percent. The game completes tokens into whole words because raw tokens were hard to read. You can play as a guest; signing in with Google or X puts your score on the daily, weekly and all-time leaderboards.

Tips
- Think about the most ordinary continuation: at temperature 0 the model always takes its single most likely word.
- A word the model rated highly still scores well even when it was not the top pick, so a near miss is worth a lot.
- The difficulty factor is higher when no word dominates, so close calls pay more.
Questions
Do my picks change the sentence?
No. The sentence follows the model's highest-probability word whatever you choose.
What do the percentages mean?
They are adjusted shares among the six choices, from the square root of each word's first-token probability, normalised to 100 percent.
How often is there a new challenge?
Once a day; the challenge is tied to the UTC date and is the same for everyone.
Do I need an account?
No. You can play as a guest; signing in with Google or X adds you to the leaderboards.
