Gap It
Rate itA small set of daily word games: bridge letters across a grid, catch imposter words, bluff an AI.
Every day: New daily puzzles in Daily Bridge (a letter path from START to END), Daily Bluff and The Imposterms, the same for all players each day. New puzzle: Once a day.

Gap It is a free collection of browser word games, several with a new puzzle every day. Daily Bridge, the original Gap It, asks you to spell a word along a path of arrow tiles from a start letter to an end letter; The Imposterms hides three imposter words among thirteen; Daily Bluff has you stack words to throw off a guesser.
About Gap It
Gap It began as a single puzzle and has grown into a hub of word games, shown as a carousel of cards. Its daily ones are the heart of it.
Daily Bridge is the original Gap It: a grid with a START letter and an END letter, and tiles whose arrows decide which neighbouring cells they open. You place tiles to make a path that spells a real English word between the two letters. Several answers work, and the challenge is to find the longest. The Imposterms shows thirteen words that look alike, three of which share a hidden trait, and you must pick out those three. Daily Bluff has you stack words on a tower while a computer guesser tries to work out your hidden topic, so decoys matter.
Around them sit other modes without a daily puzzle: Slide, a Sokoban-style letter pusher with an endless run, Keybeat, a typing game played to music, and Traits. Everything runs in the browser with no signup, and a Ranks page keeps scores.
How to play Gap It
- Open Gap It and pick a daily game from the carousel: Daily Bridge, The Imposterms or Daily Bluff.
- In Daily Bridge, place arrow tiles to open a path from START to END that spells a real word; try for the longest.
- In The Imposterms, find the three words that share a hidden trait among the thirteen.
- In Daily Bluff, stack words that hide your topic from the guesser, using decoys.

Tips
- In Daily Bridge, look at each tile's arrows before placing it: a wrong turn blocks the path.
- In The Imposterms, look past meaning to spelling: hidden traits are often in the letters.
